Vegas is obviously the capital of debauchery and awesome stories that trail off midway through with sheepish grins and awkward glances. But apart from The Killers and Frank Sinatra, you'd be hard pressed to name any music that's associated with Sin City that doesn't come complete with lounge singer banter and a preponderance of cymbal rides.
Luckily for Vegas residents (and those who want to make the drive from the surrounding area) the organizers of Bonnaroo are throwing together the third annual Vegoose Festival on Oct. 27th and 28th, bringing in a ton of name bands in case keno and strippers aren't enough to hold their attention.
In addition, there's also Vegoose at Night. Wanna see some of the bands, but not standing in a field 400 yards from the stage? Separately ticketed indoor shows go on sale mid-August, and festival ticket holders get first crack at 'em. You can find out more (and purchase tickets) at vegoose.com.
