It's hard to believe that the Vans Warped Tour is now in it's sixteenth year, but it sure as hell is. At this point, there's actually a tremendous amount of history and no shortage of great band that have crossed the Warped stage but, just when you thought that Kevin Lyman and his cohorts could not possibly come up with yet another line-up of 80+ bands to play on what is now the longest running annual tour in North America, they somehow did just that. From the classic hardcore of punk stalwarts GBH to the spazzed-out and blistering metal of The Dillinger Escape Plan to the senseless "party rock" of Andrew WK, their was something for everyone, myself included.

The show at Seaside Park in Ventura was a full day indeed, but by the time I left I had caught sets from Fear, Angry Samoans, The Dickies, The Casualties, The Uptones, Dillinger Escape Plan, Riverboat Gamblers, Alkaline Trio, Andrew WK, The Adolescents, The Voodoo Glow Skulls and the band that I had really come to see, GBH. It was the perfect day of Punk Rock, beer, and photographing bands, all it all took place right next to the Pacific Ocean. I could not have asked for anything more.
