(New York, NY) This March, The Sword and Priestbird (formerly Tarantula AD) will hit the road for what is sure to be one of the more explosive tours of the Spring (dates below).
Nearly a year ago, The Sword and Priestbird briefly toured together forging a friendship and general interest in each other’s music. When the opportunity was presented, it was a no brainer for The Sword to invite the New York trio back on the road. The thirteen date trek covers most of the south and west of the country and comes on the heels of a very successful Sword campaign for their Age of Winters debut. The size of the venues will be the biggest to date that The Sword has headlined following successful jaunts with In Flames, Trivium, Clutch, and more. Priestbird has spent much of the Winter gearing up for the release of their record In Your Time out April 17. The band plans to tour extensively throughout the year in support of their new record. Additionally, Priestbird has announced a New York City residency that will include 3 intimate shows throughout the city.
