Heya junky,

Awright, s'here we go again wit' another installment o' The SWAG Report. Ain't it fun? You addicts git yer fix, an' I get ta torture ya by babblin' a little in advance – everybody wins! This week though, I think yer makin' out better than yours truly, cause I'm pre-coffee this mornin' an' crabby, but I ain't got nothin' betta ta do at this ungodly hour o' the mornin'.

At least you junkies are gettin' somethin' though – this week, I dug up an' lifted some new tunes an' old tunes an' slapped 'em all together in one neat little package for ya! Okay, first the old stuff….

Ol' fi'dollar Billy was writin' about my man Iggy Pop inna review the other day but, innat review too, he got ta talkin' about this band called The Tragically Hip an' how ther live shows was so great. I hadda check it out fer myself, an' it turns out he was right! So what I did was lift a couple o' songs they played from back inna day – at The Roxy on the other coast – an put 'em in 'ere. These're the primo cuts! They might be old, but these two versions o' “New Orleans Is Sinking” (if only they knew when 'ey wrote this song) an' “Highway Girl” is second to none bitch! Do yerself a favor an' get hooked onnat shit fo'ya vintage fix!

Awright, on ta new business. I pulled some fine fuckin' SWAG 'at's either jus' out or ain't out yet fer yer discriminatin' taste junky, annat'sa truth. I got some full albums n' EPs! I nabbed the whole new single from OFF! – the one'at they put out on Record Store Day – an' I swiped the new tune from Sublime ('scuse me – Sublime with Rome, I ain't gettin' nailed fer somethin' 'at stupid), ther first new tune since ther singer Brad died in 1996, an' got it up in 'ere. The song an' band's as good as ever man! Check it out! I also nabbed the new Flogging Molly tune which sounds great, more new Black Lips an' some new Blackie and The Rodeo Kings. They all sound great fer single tunes, but if yer lookin' fer a more substantial fix, check out the new Code Pie, new Mayer Hawthorne an' all o' OFF!'s new single! That ain't jus' a snack junky, 'at's a full meal! So chow down, an' say thank you when yer finished, ya ingrates!

Love & sloppy kisses,
yr. ever-lovin' Don Loder.
