Sorry I'm text yellin' but I'm excited about this week, ya know? The SWAG gods blessed me wit' a fine, fat bag o' shit ta lay on ya per usual but, this week, yer gettin' some o' the finest shine from some heavy hittin' names. Who takes care o' you? I do bitch, that's who!
Le's get right into it. First an' foremost, I lifted the first good song Jane's Addiction has recorded in twenty-one years ('At's right – I went there) an' put it in 'ere! Fer some folks, that kinda junk is finer than China, finer than anything ya kin kind. This is strong an' hot an' habit forming.
Next, I didn' just getcha the new Beastie Boys tune, I gotcha the new Beastie Boys and a new Beastie Boys remix – one of each! The Passion Pit thing izza gravy here, check out tha album cut – THAT'S where the money is here. It's ben thirteen years since the Beasties did anything close to as good as “Make Some Noise,” no question.
As far as'e older school songwriter set goes, I also lifted some Jason Isbell, Steve Earle an' Kate Bush fer yer thiefin' pleasure, so have at 'em.
'Kay, onta newer trim worth thiefin'. This week, I got a little taste from every corner of every borough o' da musical community – from metal (check out this band called Fatality) ta pop (man, this band called Funeral Party is great! 'At shit might change yer life if yer a clubbin' type) ta hip hop (new Rox is solid, an' even betta wit' Nate Dogg in 'ere) an' every other damned thing ya could possibly want! So what's stoppin' ya! Get onna stick an' go get some awready!
