Radiohead comes out on Wednesday, and no matter how much you decide to buy it for (and we here at GC think you should actually purchase it for some amount of money), you'll probably pay less than if you bought it at your local Wal-Mart. So what to do with that extra coin?

Well, if you are feeling both musically inclined and socially responsible, save up for a copy of Causes 1. The record—which hits courtesy the Waxploitation label on November 27th—benefits charities that are trying to combat the genocide in Darfur, specifically Doctors Without Borders, Human Rights Watch and Oxfam America.

What do you get for your purchase (100% of the proceeds of which go to the aforementioned non-profits)? How about rare and exclusive tracks from the likes of Animal Collective, The Black Keys, Bloc Party, Bright Eyes, Cornelius, The Cure, David Sylvian, Death Cab for Cutie, (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Shins remixed by Clint Mansell, Spoon, Teargas & Plateglass, Thievery Corporation and Travis.

Waxploitation will make the record available for 90 days on iTunes, as well as a in the form of a limited edition cd that can be ordered at waxploitation.com.

For more information on Darfur, visit savedarfur.org. And then buy a cd. We bet Thom and Co. would approve.
