What Made Milwaukee Famous
NEWS

I rode the buzz out to the Troubadour to catch the first of three nights What Made Made Milwaukee Famous would be performing in Los Angeles and quickly found it all to be true. The quartet from Austin opened their set with “Idecide,” the first song from their Barsuk Records release Trying To Never Catch Up.With very little knowledge of what the band would sound like, I was a bit apprehensive when the electro track started as they took the...

NEWS

Now we all knew M. Ward was an all-around great artist, and quite the talented guy–but to be honest, he was just one of those guys who didn’t quite pierce the thick outer skin you build up when you listen to music for a living. But then he was on Letterman and pretty much blew our minds…So the news of his upcoming solo jaunts is pretty freaking exciting. Here’s the dates: 26-Jan New York, NY @ Town Hall 27-Jan Toronto,...

Wolfmother with Silversun Pickups
NEWS

Two years ago I said to myself, “Wolfmother’s gonna get pretty friggen big.” But never would I think the day would come where I would see a Wolfmother billboard hovering above the giant guitar at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas where they were scheduled to play that night with L.A.’s Silversun Pickups. This show marked the final performance of a six-date U.S. stint and the idea to go out with a bang was quite obvious in both bands’...

NEWS

L.A.'s Silversun Pickups have been touring pretty much non-stop for as long as I can remember. Smelly little clubs have given way to some of the arenas and coliseums listed below, and for good reason. Read about their live show here, and then go catch them live with Snow Patrol. Take our word for it, it's worth the time. On Tour with SNOW PATROL February 26, Memorial Coliseum / Portland, OR February 27, Key Arena / Seattle, WA March 01,...
