After the ball dropped last night, it didn't take long for people to start making promises and resolutions to change their behavior in 2012. Most people usually resolve to change the way they eat, change the way they do business, quit smoking, quit drinking or quit doing something else they enjoy but isn't particularly good for them, but when an email featuring a photo of Keith Morris fell into inboxes at the dawn of the new year, those who received it found themselves truly hoping that Morris and his band, OFF! would actually see their intentions through.
In that email, OFF! made two resolutions:
To tour Europe for the second time in twelve months.
To release a new album in Spring 2012.
The wheels to complete the first of those two resolutions have already been set into motion. According to the details supplied by the band's newsletter, OFF! will be kicking off their next European tour with a performance at the San Miguel Primavera Sound music festival in Barcelona, Spain in June, 2012 with more shows currently in the planning stages to be announced soon. The second resolution has the ball rolling too according to the email, with the single-sentence statement that, "We're writing a new album which will be released this Spring." The sentiment is simple, plain-spoken and blunt – which is exactly what fans of this band have come to expect. With more details to follow, all fans need ask themselves is this:
"Are you ready to go OFF! again?"
