Ground Control Radio 5/29 Playlist w/ guests Pela

Wednesday, 30 May 2007

Last night was one of those moments that make all your hard work worthwhile. Pela–one of Ground Control's favorite bands even before Ground Control existed–stopped by the Little Radio studios to be our guests on Ground Control Radio. The day before kicking off their tour with BrakesBrakesBrakes and Electric Soft Parade, the guys took time to talk about their new album Anytown Graffiti, their history as a band, and the need for Astronauts on tour. Then following the show, they stuck around until midnight, playing an impromptu live-only acoustic set for those listeners still hanging on. We'd be hard-pressed to name a more amazing evening in our musical careers, and are super grateful that the guys were able to come out.

Listen to the podcast of the show here (Parts of the acoustic set may become available at a later date, so we'll keep you posted).
