Legendary pop icon Adam Ant [and the reason hardcore institutions Black Flag were called Black Flag -ed] and his band, The Good, The Mad and The Lovely Posse, kicked off The Blueblack Hussar tour, the singer's first US tour in seventeen years, with a sold out show at The Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles.
The Grammy-nominated artist, once voted Sexiest Man Alive by MTV viewers, played a two-hour set which included such crowd favorites as “Goody Two Shoes," “Stand and Deliver," “Prince Charming” and “Physical (You’re So)in addition to playing many of his early hits including “Plastic Surgery” and “Dog Eat Dog." Not only that, but Adam also debuted a new song, “Vince Taylor,” from his upcoming album, Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner’s Daughter scheduled for release in January, 2013.
