Dis week, I gotta buncha really famous artists fo' ya, an' some thit ain't so famous too – but it's all good junky, an' I'll betcher gonna be hooked on some of it afta ya work yer way through the lists.
You'll get hooked on da newest tune by Boats, fer example. I dunno abouchu, but dis band didn'do nothin' fer me when'ey started, I thought it was a joke. Not now though, dis new tune is moody enough ta kick yer ass if yer not watchin'! Da same is true o' da new Eels an' Fidlar tunes innere – they all got some pretty rough vibes, but they got charm too an' they'll getcha hooked an' waitin' fer more.
Then I got some really potent strains that'll getcha a bit of a habit, but ther notcher regular kinda thing. I'm talkin' about da new tunes I got innereby Beach Fossils, Challenger, Hayden an' Erin McKeown. Alla dose got a fuckin' really weird set o' vibes'at're dark an' mean, but poppy an' textural too – 'at makes it all a pain inna ass ta try an' sell ya on it junky, but trus'me. Dose tunes're worth a look.
But dat's not all! Man, I awways feel like a guy huckin' used cars when I say dat… Anyway, I got da newest tune by Paul fuckin' Westerberg innere ann'e's playin' piano an' not guitar (that oughtta get ol' Fi' Dollar Billy's head spinnin'), new Low anna whole new EP's worth o' cover tunes by Telephoned for ya, annat's still only da tip o' da iceberg! So go geddit awready, ya miserable junkies! Pilfer yer weaselly, black guts out!
