Awright so, trollin' around the interwebs lately, I found a bunch o' stuff to satisfy yer urges but some of it is really fuckin' cool an' I know there are a couple o' guys at this 'ere publication will agree wit' me. Like fi' dollar Billy (sorry – he's tryin' to be respectable these days an' asks everybody to call him 'Bill Adams, Editor-In-Chief – geez whatta mouthful) for example; those that don't know him might not know that he grew up a street punk for a long time. He might not wanna admit it, but he's gonna get a little tingle outta some o' the stuff I liberated this week, like some tunes by OFF! Now, fer those who dunno, OFF! is supposed to be a play on words. The singer for this band is Keith Morris, who used to play in the Circle Jerks and (more importantly) Black Flag so, fer this project, he just named it after another bug repellent an' got some other old-schoolers from Redd Cross, Rocket From The Crypt an' Burning Brides to help him out, an' it's fuckin' great! Fi' dollar Billy'll get a little tingle outta hearin' this grainy an' dry hardcore greatness an' you will too if you know what's good for you. Not only that, I also got my greasy fingers onna couple o' covers that Less Than Jake did not too long ago for yer downloadin' pleasure, and I scammed a track from this new band called Tyvek who might be the next street punk institutions – they got all the right slime fer it.
Awright, enough wit' the punkers. I also dug up some prime an' gritty metal in the form o' The Video Dead an' Death By Stereo, some institutionalized an' chronic hip hop outtakes (scroll down, you'll see what I mean), some folk, some rock an' some rockabilly an' more.
