I went to the Black Hills, no gold could I find. I thought of the free land I'd left far behind; Through rain, snow, and hail, boys, froze up to the gills, They called me the orphan of the dreary Black Hills. – not sure

Luckily for us, this isn’t the mid-1800s!

Every once in a while I’ll check out label sites and see what new stuff they have going on and I’ll feel like I discovered gold, texas tea, or whatever else that dude says on Beverly Hillbillies. Anyway, I found my way over to Vice and I felt like Indiana Jones when he discovered the lost Arc. It’s not like finding someone’s iPod or external hard drive, but there’s still some dope tracks being handed out like candy on Halloween! This column will be dedicated to those lovely labels who feel good about giving away digital music, and not hoard it like some money-grubbin' major label dude.
